Home Remedies for Back Acne

Home Remedies for Back Acne brings you a list of easy cures to help soothe and eliminate back acne, aka bacne!

Back acne is similar in its causes to face acne; however, it is much more difficult to treat and maintain solely because of its location. But it's not impossible. You can purchase a long handle loofah to make sure you never miss a spot on your back and always keep clothes clean (not sweaty!) and wear breathable fabrics.

Home Remedies for Back Acne

Remedy #1
Tea tree oil.
After cleansing your body, apply the oil to a clean wash cloth and smooth over all affected areas. The Body Shop (located in malls) has a great collection of tea tree oil.

Remedy #2
Cucumbers.
Take 1 cucumber and grind it into a fine paste. Smooth the paste over all affected areas and let sit for 20 minutes. Wash off the paste thoroughly, leaving no residue. This will help to remove dirt trapped in the skin and keep it oil-free.

Remedy #3
Exfoliating Scrubs.
There are lots of exfoliating scrubs available at your local pharmacy store (eg Walgreen's, CVS) but you can also create one at home. Just mix enough sugar crystals (use medium sized crystals - too small will feel like it's not working, too big can break skin) and olive oil to get a paste-like consistency. Add a few drops of lime juice to keep it sanitized. Gently scrub the mix all over body, concentrating on affected areas like the back, twice a week.
